Crafted by Note: D 1st Overtone: G 2nd Overtone: Eb Length: 54" Mouthpiece Opening: 1.25" Bell End: 3.5" Remarks: Another great musical instrument by Ngongu. Just has a great feel to it when you pick it up. I guess some would say spirit, energy, craftsmanship, whatever floats your boat it just has that good vibe to it. Check out the beautiful conical shape on this one. Very open bore through out. Meant to be played loud, responsive and clear. All around great player and collector instrument. | #C1006 - Made in Northern Territory, Australia. Crafted by Jack Nawalil Note: Bb Length: 62.25" Mouthpiece Opening: 1.5" Bell End: 2.75" Remarks: Priced for quick sale with instant equity. Giyanggiyang is the word used by Rembarrnga people for their oversized didjeridus used in Bunggul rituals. These type of instruments, and the overtone-present playing style they are used for, are rarities in Western Arnhem Land. The above example was crafted by Jack Nawalil, a member of the White Cockatoo Performing Group, and is decorated in what has been described as "museum grade" artwork. It produces a very clean and deeply resonant low Bb. Due to the instruments great length and width it requires skill to play properly. Previously owned instrument. Sale Price: $999 + S&H $50 |
